My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Charles!

Charles is a young 20 pound terrier mix who recently came into our rescue. He is full of the most perfect playful energy and would do amazing in an active home. He is dog and cat friendly and does great with new people after learning they are his friends too. The ONLY catch is that he is heartworm positive. He will be getting treatment through the recue but can totally be adopted during the process with the proper post treatment care! He really is one of a kind, we hope someone uot there is looking for a new best friend.

Additional adoption info

After filling out an adoption application, a director from the rescue reaches out to the potential adopter to ask clarifying questions in order to choose the best fit applicant for the dog. After that, we schedule a meet-and-greet with the potential adopter and their animals (if applicable) to make sure that we feel it is a good fit for both the dog and the adopter. After that, if it is deemed a good match, the adopter fills out a contract, pays the adoption fee, and take home their new best friend!
