Meet Opal – The Sweetest Companion!

Opal is a 2-3-year-old mixed breed with the most adorable smile and a heart full of love. She’s currently living with her foster family, who can’t stop raving about how incredibly sweet and gentle she is.

One of Opal’s best qualities? She’s super quiet—her foster family has only heard her bark once in two months! She’s also potty trained, making her an easy fit for any home. Opal gets along wonderfully with other dogs (she currently shares her home with three!) and absolutely adores kids, making her a fantastic family dog.

When she’s not playing or exploring, Opal loves nothing more than snuggling up with her favorite humans. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion, Opal is ready to be your perfect match. Could she be the missing piece to your family?

Once adopted he will travel via the Rescue Transport to his new family. They travel each weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the northeast, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. Our adoption process starts right here – you finding yourself your new best friend and family member. Once you have found one of these beautiful souls we ask that you complete an adoption application.

Once the application has been approved, the selection process begins. As with any adoption, we want to ensure our dogs are going into the best fit home – not only for them, but for you as well. Pet adoption is a big commitment and we want to make sure these dogs don’t endure anymore hardships than they already have.

The final step in the adoption process is the spay/neuter contract (assuming the puppy is too young or unable to be spayed or neutered at the time of adoption).

Once the adoption process has been finalized, we will make reservations for transport to your area. **Please note: Most of our dogs are fostered in Memphis, TN - our transport runs once every other week to Maine.**

We are a rescue based out of Memphis, Tennessee with fosters and chapters in various parts of the United States. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home as many homeless pets in the mid-south as we possibly can to save them from euthanasia. Their only fault...there are just too many. The euthanasia rate in this city is a staggering 79%. We watch perfectly healthy, well-adjusted pets be euthanized daily because there simply are not enough homes for them all. The solution...stronger spay/neuter laws and education but until then, these pets deserve a future too!
