Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beautiful Gracie was found wandering with a doggie pal. Their owner could not be found and they were at risk of being sent to the county shelter. A wonderful foster stepped up so Anthem Pets could save them both, and the other dog has already been adopted.
Gracie is 45-50 lbs, about 1 year old, and a started out a little nervous when she first landed. In her newest foster home she has two kitty friends she is learning to live with. She mostly wants to be pals and play, but is still learning not to chase if they run. Gracie is housebroken, crate trained and knows some basic obedience. She is learning not to jump, to sit, come to her new name, and have patience. Gracie loves to walk around with a stuffed toy and is figuring out to play with people and other dogs! ♥
Gracie struggles with some separation anxiety and will dig at water buckets, bark or whine, and fret. She is improving every day with consistency, crate time, and confidence building. Gracie is very friendly, but can be nervous meeting new people/animals and may bark; With treats, time, and practice she is likely to be a super-duper friendly girl.
Gracie's adoption fee of $325 includes a microchip, vaccinations, and spay surgery. If you would like to set up a Meet & Greet and be considered for adoption, please click on the button with the pet’s name to fill out an application. Someone will contact you within 24 hours. If you have difficulty with the application, please email us at Rescue@AnthemPets.org.
NOTE: Only Arizona based adoption inquiries will be considered. Anthem Pets Website: www.anthempets.org
