My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Special price: Let's find JJ a good home! Helloooo, Handsome!! JJ is an awesome boy! This handsome young cowboy moved to Iowa from an overwhelmed shelter in Texas, and spent some time with a transition foster in between. While there, he learned all sorts of good things about living in a house, being potty trained, and how great it is to have toys and bones. JJ is a big-hearted, big baby! A gentle voice and a loving touch go a long way with this sweet guy. Up to date on vaccines, neutered, and yes, we mentioned that he is potty trained!! The whole package, and young enough that he will make his new family complete for a long time! He will need careful introductions with other pets, though--he needs time to get to know them.

More about this rescue

At One Dog Rescue, we are changing the world for one dog at a time. We specifically focus on pulling animals who are at high risk for euthanasia, particularly in shelters that practice heart stick euthanasia. We are a 501(c)3 organization and always in need of donations to help cover veterinary and transportation costs! Since we are volunteers, we appreciate your patience, but we do try to respond to inquiries promptly. One dog at a time, we are making a difference.
