Meet Butch - The man, the myth, and the legend! This sweet boy came to us as a stray and after no one came to claim him, he's looking for his forever home to settle down in. Butch is learning all the new things that life has to offer and he's ready for his next big adventure! He has done well with other dogs at the shelter but will need a bit of a slow introduction to make sure things are safe. If your looking for a big buddy to explore life with, look for Butch! Cats over 4 months -- $75 for one, $100 for two
Puppies under 4 months -- $300
Dogs over 4 months-- $100, $150 for two
Rabbits -- $50 for one, $80 for two
Guinea Pigs -- $15 for one, $25 for two
Rats, Mice, and Hamsters - $8.00 for one, $2 for any additional

The main caregiver and an adult in the family are required to be present and meet the animal to adopt. An application and signed contract is required, and homeownership or verification from a landlord that the pet is allowed is required. Dog adoptions require an introduction to all members of the family as well as any existing dogs.

Furry Friends seeks to assist all animals in need through a variety of programs. We are a group of passionate people who have created the first no- kill community in Iowa and hope to spread the no-kill mission through the rest of Iowa.
