My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPT REBEL 💙🩵💙
Rebel: The "Rebellious" Good Boy Whose Only Crime Is Being Black and Adorable 🖤
Meet Rebel: Just over 1 year old | 60 pounds | Certified 100% Good Boy | Professional people-pleaser | Owner of Oklahoma's most charming wonky ear
Let's address the elephant in the room: Rebel's name is a LIE.
This boy is not rebellious. He's not defiant. He's not causing trouble. The most rebellious thing about Rebel is that one adorable ear that refuses to cooperate and flips around like it's got its own personality.
That's it. That's the whole rebellion.
Here's the Rebel truth:
🖤 Black dog (unfairly overlooked)
👂 Wonky ear that flips and flops (incredibly charming)
🤍 White blaze on his snout (distinguished gentleman)
😊 Sweet furrowed brow (natural wrinkles, not worried)
🐕 Great with other dogs
🐱 Great with cats
👶 Great with people
🏠 House-trained
😴 Sleeps through the night in his crate
💕 ALL he wants to do is please his people
Rebel is the dog equivalent of that kid in class who always raises his hand, does his homework, and genuinely wants the teacher to be proud of him. He's THAT good.
Why is Rebel still waiting?
Black Dog Syndrome. It's a real thing. Black dogs get overlooked in shelters and rescues because... honestly, we don't really know why. They photograph less dramatically? They don't stand out in kennels? People are superstitious?
Whatever the reason, Rebel deserves better.
Look at these photos. LOOK AT THEM.
Rebel with a pinwheel toy looking like the happiest boy alive ✅
Rebel in the car with his buddy, both with their tongues out ✅
Rebel chilling with a cat like it's no big deal ✅
Rebel in a blue bandana being handsome ✅
Rebel on a cozy blanket with those soulful eyes ✅
Rebel's perfect face with that one rebellious ear ✅
Rebel wearing a collar that literally says "REBEL" (truth in advertising) ✅
This dog is ADORABLE. This dog is GOOD. This dog is READY.
What Rebel needs:
🏡 A family who won't overlook him because he's black
💙 People who appreciate a good boy who actually IS a good boy
🎾 Playmates (he's young and fun!)
❤️ Someone to please (it's literally his favorite thing)
🐾 A home with a secure fenced yard and good vet history🩺
What you get:
A loyal, playful, house-trained, cat-friendly, dog-friendly, people-loving sweetheart who will greet you with that wonky ear and those soulful eyes every single day. A dog who sleeps through the night, wants to make you happy, and comes with the most charming asymmetrical ears you've ever seen.
Rebel is not rebellious. He's perfect. And he's been waiting for someone to see past "black dog" and recognize "GREAT dog."

Rebel's only rebellion is that ear. Everything else? Textbook good boy. Don't let him wait any longer. 🐕🖤
