My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

T Bone is a Super Smart, Spunky guy who is looking for his new family or person. Sadly, his human Dad passed away recently and his brother has been adopted.

T-bone is now by himself in an outdoor pen being cared for by friends until he is discovered by his new family. Unfortunately the friends that are caring for him have four Dogs of their own and feel that he deserves a home of his own.

T-bone is a healthy, young at heart 9 yr. old neutered German Shepherd. He is a Happy Guy who loves to go for walks and walks well on leash. If you are looking for a walking or hiking buddy or a canine friend to share your farm or land, T Bone may be your guy! He'd love a home where he can be your one and only. A fenced in yard or property where he can run and explore would be on the top of his bucket list. We are asking a rehoming fee to help insure he is adopted into a great home.

~Adoption donation $300. All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and neutered. Also on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Visit www.ruffloverescue.com/adoption and fill out an application to make this pup a member of your family

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We require potential adopters to fill out an application, and a home check is also part of the process. We look at each dog and each adopter on an individual basis and work to create a lasting and forever bond. All companion animals must be spayed or neutered, UTD on vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative. Our adoption fee is $250 unless otherwise noted.

More about this rescue

Ruff Love was founded by Sue Rogers in response to the overwhelming numbers of abandoned dogs in the Randolph County/Davidson County area. Over time, we have developed a network of volunteers and foster homes. Our rescue efforts are geared toward dogs. We are a 501(c)(3)non-profit organization so all donations to us are tax deductible. Currently, we are caring for over 100 dogs in our program, and almost 70 are adoptable. Most of the dogs that are not up for adoption are either old or are suffering from chronic health conditions. They will live out their days well cared for and comfortable in with Ruff Love Rescue.
