My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meow, and hello out there! My name is Daphne, aka Fluffy! My sister, Rose, and I showed up alone in a yard in north St Louis County when we were quite small. We are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. I love people!! Unlike many cats, I am very social and not afraid of strangers. I have only been with my current foster mom for a short time and I have been demanding attention from her for almost as long. I can get very excited when I want attention and give a gentle nip, so no young children please.  I also didn’t like the dogs at my previous foster home. I am around 7 months old as of February 2025.

More about this rescue

Mission Statement: The Cat Network is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit, 501(c) (3), no-kill and life-enhancing cat rescue group. Since 1991, we have rescued and placed thousands of abandoned, abused, stray and shelter cats and kittens in St. Louis, Missouri and surrounding areas. After their rescue, the cats and kittens are provided medical care, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, micro-chipped and spayed or neutered. Cats and kittens are kept in foster care and then placed in loving permanent homes whenever possible.
