I got my name when a PAWS volunteer investigated a neighbors problem. Seemed they were moving and when they found me and my 5 new kittens in their garage and were trying to "shooo" me out. They were also trying to feed me sliced white bread! Obviously noy "cat people!" I sure was glad to see someone with a can of cat food for me. PAWS-OK came picked me and my kids up the next day. I am SUPER SWEET (my foster's moms words) and was a great mom to my five. kiddos. I am a very petite girl and ready for a new home of my own now.
PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008. All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home. We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes. Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age. A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours.
If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form. Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days. If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center. If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation.
