My name is Tuxie and I was surrendered to PAWS with my littermates in July 2024. We were born in the Silverlake neighborhood and our mom was a free roaming gal who brought us to a nice lady who lived there and was feeding her. We were spoiled by her and I am super freindly with most people (once I get to know them). I also get along pretty good with other cats and don't mind well behaved dogs either. I am active and love to play so a home with lots of room would be best for me.
PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008. All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home. We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes. Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age. A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours.
If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form. Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days. If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center. If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation.
