PAWS-OK named me Ringo for the white ring I have at the end of my tail. I was surrendered to them by my previous adopter who got me at the Edmond Shelter. Before that I was a free roaming cat in my adopter's apt complex. They caught me and too me to the Edmond Shelter who vetted me then she adopted me. I was a little too active for what she was looking for when she got me. I raced around a lot and wasn't fond of having her touch me. With my foster mom I am just fine, she can pick me up and even clip my nails! I need an active home that always has something going on so I can be curious and active!
PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008. All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home. We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes. Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age. A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours. Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days. If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center.
