Flounder:
•Pit Bull/Chihuahua mix
•5 months old
•25lbs
•Spayed female
•Dog and kid friendly, (cats unknown)
•Working on potty and crate training
•The sweetest, most cuddly girl ever!
Flounder is a goofy, energetic, cuddly 5 month old Pit Bull/Chihuahua mix who loves going on adventures, exploring, and playing all day long! When she's not being active, Flounder's favorite thing to do is snuggle up next to her people for a nice warm nap session. Flounder is a tiny girl at only 25lbs and she's not expected to get much bigger!
Flounder was found as a stray and taken to our local high kill shelter where she sat alone in a kennel for over 30 days with no interest from the public. We're not sure why she didn't catch anyone's eye, since she's obviously cute as can be and has the most contagious happiness! With the shelter being so overcrowded, dogs usually don't get very long to find placement and Flounder was put on the euthanasia list soon after hitting her 30 day mark. Luckily, we were able to save this sweet girl and she's been nothing but joyfully grateful ever since!
Flounder is only 5 months old so she still has a lot of puppy energy in her! She absolutely loves being around other dogs and playing with them, but she can be a bit annoying to less tolerant dogs sometimes. She is still learning how to be respectful of boundaries, but she's a very smart girl and is catching on steadily. She is a little ball of spunk and her crazy puppy antics are sure to bring a smile to your face any time! Flounder is working on her crate and potty training and is doing well in her progress with each. She is a bit noisy in the kennel right now, as most puppies tend to be, but she's getting better every day. She is an easily trainable dog who will thrive with a little routine and patience!
Flounder is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.
