My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi beagle friends,

Bruno here! I am a 3 year old beagle boy who is looking to find myself a new home! A nice family saved me from the euthanasia list and I`m lovin` life with them but they said I deserve a fur-ever home. Here`s a little about me:

I am a fun-loving, mild mannered dog. I love my people and will cry/bark if they leave me (but I am easily redirected). My foster mom says I`m excellent on a leash and I have to say, I do love myself a good car ride! I`m a very good car rider!

I do take medication to reduce my separation anxiety and manage my seizures. As long as I stay on my medication, my vet says I`m a good boy and the seizures aren`t a big deal (I do get a little confused and disoriented when coming out of a seizure but that`s it).

I`m good with other dogs, cats, and kids/adults of all ages. I sleep in my kennel at night and roam the house freely during the day. I am a little shy when I meet new people but quickly warm up. I love toys - balls and harder chew toys are some of my favorites.

What do you think, do you have room on your couch for me? If you are interested in meeting me, please hop over to the website and fill out an application today! https://azbeaglerescue.com/adopt/adoption-process

Bruno

AZBR is an all-volunteer organization. Dogs are fostered in volunteer homes. Beagles can be seen at more than a dozen adoption events throughout the year.

More about this rescue

Arizona Beagle Rescue (AZBR) is a statewide 501(c)3 non-profit, all-volunteer animal welfare organization dedicated to saving homeless beagles through rescue efforts, adoption and education on the breed. AZBR works in cooperation with animal shelters and humane agencies throughout AZ to reduce the euthanasia of adoptable animals by providing foster homes, veterinary services and training for all the beagles in our care. AZBR offers breed specific resources and training referrals to promote lifelong relationships between beagles and their companions.

AZBR operates solely on donations and has no shelter of its own; instead a statewide network of volunteers open their homes and hearts to provide foster care for rescued dogs until qualified, loving forever homes are found.
