Grady is super sweet and loves attention - once he's comfortable in a new environment. Basically, the first 24-36-ish hours, he’s not sure what to make of the situation, people, or sounds. It took about 2-3 weeks to really start seeing him be comfortable in his foster home. Once he adjusts, well, you can see for yourself in his profile photo...he's very happy and relaxed. (The other photos are about 24 hours in and he was so scared :( ) Grady will be happiest in a quieter home. He and Georgie are fostered together and get along GREAT. If you're looking for two awesome companions, they're best friends and love to play and rough-house with one another. Regardless, Grady absolutely needs a kitty friend in his forever home. When he first arrived in foster care, he wasn't sure what to do with toys, but he's figured it out - thanks to the other kitties. He is VERY VERY food motivated and loves wet food and treats. Grady was found with a large abscess on his face. It’s healed up, but he does have a scar (above his right eye). Grady is not a fan of carriers, so a top loading carrier is a must for this boy! He’s quick to forgive the carrier once home if he’s given treats.
Please contact NTCR AT 214.454.9395 should you have any concerns or questions.
Please note: We appreciate all interest in our cats and kittens, but we are an all volunteer organization. Please be patient with regard to a call back. Should you need to surrender the cat you adopted from NTCR, please email us at surrenderNTCRcat@northtexascatrescue.com.
