Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Marcel and Snoop, 3 month old brothers who should be named BIG and RESPONSIBILITY. Because that is what all puppies are. Since their your lives started out at the shelter and most likely with no doggie mom around, these guys need constant training, supervision and interaction. Both will require work on housebreaking, basic commands, socialization with people and other dogs and recognition on unwanted behaviors that will need to be properly corrected. If you are considering one of the boys (they are available to separate homes), please ask yourself how much time can you devote to a new puppy, considering your current lifestyle. Marcel and Snoop are going to be a 10+ year commitment and as they grow, their needs will change, so please keep that in mind. At this stage of their lives, they are mischievous, may chew, dig and bark as part of their natural behavior so patience and It is important to provide consistent training and positive reinforcement to guide them effectively understanding of raising a puppy is definitely a requirement. Adopting Marcel or Snoop will be incredibly rewarding (just think of all the snuggles) but it is important to ensure that their families are fully prepared so we will be very specific on their forever homes. We always encourage our pups to go to homes with other well balanced dogs. These pups are located in foster homes in Port Orange and their adoption fee is $300 each.
The boys are available separately Foster to adopt requirements and application are located on our website at www.dbgsdrescue.org.
