Life's been a bit of an adventure for me. I was found hurt at the entrance of a condo with a torn ear and some wounds on my body. The kind person who found me tried their best to reunite me with my owner but couldn't find them. Since then, I've moved around a few places, and now I'm staying at a doggy hotel/school while waiting to find my forever home.

People Lover Extraordinaire:
I'm a social butterfly! I warm up quickly to strangers, especially if they have treats. I absolutely love snuggles, belly rubs, and any attention from humans. I'm gentle with kids too!

Dog-Friendly Vibes:
I’m great with other dogs and approach new doggy friends gently and politely. I get along with dogs of all sizes as long as they're not too hyper. If another dog tries to pick a fight, I’ll usually just walk away. If I’m rejected, I might bark a little, but that’s all!

Cool with Cats:
I lived with cats for about a month. They mostly kept their distance, but when we did cross paths, I wasn’t reactive.

Energy & Activity:
I have a medium-high energy level and love outdoor adventures. I enjoy walks, though I sometimes pull on the leash. My trainer says I’m improving! I can sit for food and happily hop into a car for a ride.

Good Manners:

• No resource guarding with humans (but I may growl if another dog approaches my food)


• 90% housetrained


• No escape tendencies


• Rarely bark

Things to Work On:
I sometimes whine in a crate but settle down eventually. If I have pent-up energy, I might be noisier in the crate. Balance is important for me — too much affection could lead to separation anxiety.

Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.

Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.
