If you're into big kitties, have we got the perfect one for you!
When boomer was first brought to us, he was a bit "angry". He was found as a stray, so it's very possible he wasn't too happy being an indoor cat. But a lot has changed since then, and Boomer is now a reformed man. He is as cool as a cucumber and loves to chill. A nice bed or a hammock is all he needs to be happy. Boomer doesn't cause trouble like some other cats in his foster home (counter surfing, constantly being in the way, etc.) and is an avid litter box cleaner, even cleaning up after his messy friends. He is super friendly with all of his foster sibs and avoids any conflicts. He's also great with three yappy little dogs. We believe Boomer would do best in a calm, adult only home.
Boomer is a big, solid 4-year-old boy. He tips the scale at 13 pounds and 9 ounces. You can see in the photos how much the round hammock sinks under him 😆.
Boomer is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his FVRCP boosters. Since he has been with us for a while to work on getting his cattitude adjusted, he needs to be updated on his rabies vaccination. This will be done prior to his adoption. Boomer is FIV/FeLV negative. HIs adoption fee is $145. He is currently fostered in Tinley Park.
If you are interested in meeting Boomer, please complete our online adoption application on this site. If you have specific questions regarding Boomer, you can email us at onegoaladoptions@gmail.com.
PLEASE ALLOW AT LEAST 48 HOURS FOR APPLICATION PROCESSING. WE ARE A VERY SMALL RESCUE AND ARE NOT ALWAYS ABLE TO RESPOND IMMEDIATELY.

Our mission at One Goal Animal Foundation is to provide for rescue, foster care, and adoption of homeless cats and dogs. While we do admit some dogs into our program, our primary focus is on saving stray cats and kittens. The majority of cats accepted into our program are humanely trapped by our own team. We also work with local animal control facilities and other shelters to pull cats in need. We accept owner surrenders on a limited basis.
