Hailey came to us with her days old puppies after they had been abandoned in a house after an eviction. She was very protective and stressed, but once she knew she was safe in her new foster home, she was able to be the best mom, and sweetest companion. She is estimated to be 4 ish years old and is around 11 lbs.

Hailey has now raised her 2 puppies, and has been spayed. She is ready for her new chapter of life! She is a very affectionate dog who loves to be around her humans. Her kisses are unmatched, partly because she has an abnormally long tongue. Now that Hailey is comfortable being away from her puppies for longer periods of time, her foster family has learned that she LOVES car rides and walks. If you open the front door, she confidently trots to the car and impatiently waits for you to open the door. She is ready to see the world! At night, Hailey likes to burrow under the covers and snuggle in with her human.

Hailey gets along with the smaller dogs and cats in her foster home, and isn’t afraid to let them know when she wants space. She has met some bigger dogs and did fine but she needs slower introductions. Though this may become easier with time and distance from her pups. We haven’t seen her around children, so a proper introduction to see Hailey’s comfort level is a must.

This “turnkey” dog would do great in a variety of homes, but she really wants to be in a home where she gets to go out with her humans nearly daily.
