Tucker is a young and energetic dog who loves basically everyone he meets. He would do best with an active family who can give him lots of exercise and attention. He will bond strongly with his family, but may need basic training.

Every attempt will be made to answer the large volume of calls as they come in, but our small staff may be busy with animal care and adoption processing, so no one may be available to answer. *Shelter space is guaranteed (on a 24/7 basis) to stray dogs brought in by dog control officers from towns that contract with Elmore SPCA.

*Per NYS Ags & Mrkts Law, to redeem a dog the owner must provide valid up-to-date licensing and rabies vaccination, and pay the town's/city's redemption fee.

*Owners surrenders are addressed by individual circumstances. Additional efforts, such as courtesty PetFinder listings, can be provided to help owners rehome their pets.
