My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET STITCH! He's about 1 year 6 months old and came to us from a family who had too many animals and could not properly care for him.

He has been in a foster home for a few weeks and is learning house-manners. He's almost housebroken, waits patiently for his food and is very happy in his crate. He does have a tendency to get on top of things (like chairs) but he is learning DOWN very quickly. (Hint: Be loud!) Best of all, he sleeps all night!

Stitch is great with other dogs and has no issues with food or toys. Stitch’s adopter will have to work with him on housebreaking and leash walking but he is a very fast learner and will do anything for a treat. A home with kids 10 and older is recommended.

Stitch is neutered, microchipped, and current on shots. He weighs about 30lbs. If you would like to meet him, please fill out our brief application at downtowndogrescue.org/adoption-questionnaire and we will get back to you.

Please submit an application online in our website. Once reviewed and approved we will arrange a meet and greet, if everything goes well, we will provide with an adoption agreement and set up a home visit and drop off of your new companion.

Please note: Our dogs are available for adoption within a 50 mile radius of the greater Los Angeles area. We do not adopt out of state.
