Beatrice is an 8-month-old bully mix that was surrendered due to a recurring medical condition and financial constraints with original owner.
She is very affectionate and wants nothing more than to love her person. She enjoys cuddles and playing fetch. (She even brings the ball back!)
She knows a few basic commands; she is very food driven and eager to please. She does well with other dogs but can get over excited and is still learning manners. She would do well with another dog that enjoys playing. Not yet tested with cats.
She was kept outdoors by her previous owners; this has caused some separation anxiety. She’s not comfortable going outside alone yet, she likely fears she’s getting left out again. She does fine outside when she has her person but otherwise will cry at the door until she can come back in.
All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update.
