My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Wyatt

This lovable knucklehead is Wyatt—a goofy, playful, and endlessly huggable guy with a luxurious golden coat you’ll want to sink your fingers into.

We think Wyatt is a Great Pyrenees and Shepherd mix. He’s on the smaller side for those breeds, but he loves his meals and is holding steady at around 55 lbs.

Though he’s full-grown, Wyatt has kept all the playful energy of a pup. He loves to chase and roughhouse with his foster dog siblings, and he’s happiest when he’s part of the fun.

Wyatt’s looking for a home that loves a little silliness, a lot of fur, and a whole lot of heart.

More about this rescue

Flying B Animal Rescue & Sanctuary was founded in honor of my husband Tom Baker who passed away in 2023 from pancreatic cancer. Tom understood my profound love of animals and wanted me to follow my dream to start an animal rescue - so here we are.

Flying B provides rescue, shelter, and rehabilitation for abandoned animals in the Ellis County and surrounding areas.
