This sweet little guy is ready to find his forever home! He’s still a puppy, so he’s looking for a family who can help him with basic manners and training. He’d do best in a home with adults only, or older teens (16+) with experience, due to his puppy mouthing and prey drive. He loves daily walks, playtime in a fenced yard, and responds well to verbal cues like `sit` (and takes treats gently!). He’ll need to go home with either basic manners training or a private consultation to set him up for success. If you’re ready to help him grow, he’s ready to bring lots of love and fun into your life! He is expected to be a large to extra large dog when fully grown, he is currently 50lbs.

Adoptable pets are now available through Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS)

Effective March 1, 2021 AARCS began a pilot to manage pet adoption services for The City of Calgary. The goal is to reduce the time adoptable pets spend sheltered, for the overall welfare of the animals. AARCS has an extensive fostering network, which increases the opportunity for animals to be cared for in homes, instead of shelters, while they wait for their new family. Animal Services will continue to carry out medical and dental care and spay and neuters for adoptable animals before they are transported to AARCS for adoption or fostering. https://aarcs.ca/adoptable-animals/
