Meet Scout English – The Spunky, Speedy, and Oh-So-Adorable Pup!

Scout English is an estimated 3-month-old pup with a best-guess mix of Corgi and Pittie. With his big ears, short little legs, and the most charming black-and-white coat (complete with a tail that looks like it was dipped in white paint and a sprinkle of tiny freckles), he’s truly one-of-a-kind! At just under 10 pounds, he may be small, but he’s got a huge personality.

Currently fostered in Lacey, WA, Scout is thriving in an active household with three doggy foster siblings (ages 13, 6, and 4). His foster mom describes him as spunky, curious, and incredibly smart—always eager to explore and learn. And don’t be surprised if this little guy has a need for speed—he’s already hopped onto one of his foster family’s bikes to test out his racing skills!

Potty training? Going fantastic—only one accident so far! He’s also sleeping through the night with no issues and already knows his kennel is his safe space. He’s loving his doggy siblings, soaking up all the lessons they have to teach, and is a big fan of chew toys (so be sure to have plenty on hand!).

Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO, UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport.

Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!

The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

*WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health.
*To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs.

From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
