Hey all, my name is Nola and I am a petite (58 lb) and sweet 10-year-old black lab mix. I am not acting my age; I am in great shape and acting more like a 5-yr old. I LOVE long walks and I LOVE to play ball as much as possible.
I found myself to an ugly shelter because my owner had to go into hospice. I got saved by this nice lady at the rescue and since then I have been living in my foster home with 2 other dogs - one small and one medium. They don't like to play at all with me but that is ok. Ideally, I would go to a home where I can get all the attention to myself but another playful dog work well too.
I walk nicely on leash. I am housetrained as well. I am a little hard of hearing but I can manage very well. The vet said I am in excellent health.
My foster mom wants to say something about me: This girl is just PERFECT. She has the right energy and can adjust based on the household. She can be as active as needed or as calm as needed. She can go for a 3-4 miles walk or nap all day long. She can be playful with a dog or calm if the other dog refuses to play.
