If we were to equate food with love, Zoey Zo was adored. Zoey Zo came to us looking like she was very much loved in her previous home. We don't know why she was given up, we just know she belongs back in a home. Zoey Zo is both playful and independent. Of course, she was also confused about being in the shelter and did some initial owner searching. Zoey Zo didn't want to show us her wealth of knowledge but she sure did happily trot over for some snacks. She is silly that is for sure. Silly senior gals are true gems!

*Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL

*The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.

*All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.

*Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
