My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Updated: 1FEB25

**Meet Bear!**

Breed: Unknown Shepherd Mix (8-9 months old)
Size: Large (think "gentle giant")
Age: 8-9 months old
Status: Available for foster (and definitely needs a buddy!)

**Background**

Bear’s adventure began on New Year's Eve at the Slider Inn—yes, he was the life of the party! After being found at the restaurant, this handsome lad made his way to Cordova Animal Clinic, where he received the royal treatment: fully vetted, neutered, and heartworm negative. Talk about a glow-up!

**Personality**

This sweet boy is as non-aggressive as a teddy bear (but way more dynamic!). He loves to cuddle, though he’s got a little bit of a thunder phobia—who can blame him? If you’ve ever heard a thunderstorm, you know it sounds like a herd of elephants having a dance party on your roof!

Bear might have some separation anxiety, likely from those long crate hours as a pup. Let's just say he’s not a fan of being left alone—he might even give you his best sad puppy eyes that could rival any Disney movie.

Potty trained and ready to roll, Bear’s a great catch! He’s just a bit too large for his current foster, a lovely 74-year-old lady who might need a bit more muscle to keep up with his shenanigans. Bear needs a home where he can stretch out and show off his goofy side!

**Please Help!**
Bear's pictures don’t do him justice—seriously, he’s like a model in a dog food commercial. If you’re interested in fostering or adopting this lovable goofball, reach out! He’s ready to bring joy (and maybe a few giggles) to your life. Stay tuned for more of Bear’s hilarious antics as he searches for his forever home!
