My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sheldon is a 1.5 year old and a Mountain Cur mix who weighs around 75 lbs. He has been in our care for almost a year now and still hasn’t found a home. Sheldon is still a very shy and anxious pup around new people (no aggression though!) but once he starts to trust and know you, he is super sweet. In his current foster home, Sheldon loves to sit and look out the windows watching the cars and people outside. He LOVES treats and knows some basic commands as well. While Sheldon does enjoy his playtime, he also equally enjoys downtime resting on the couch. He’s a gentle pup who just loves to be close to you and get all the love and affection he deserves. Sheldon would do best in a home with children over the age of 12 given his shy demeanor.

Sheldon is neutered, fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped.

Pack Leaders Rescue was founded in 2010 by Americo and Tori Cateni. Since then it has grown to include many amazing volunteers, fosteres and a rescue center who work very hard to find amazing foreveer homes. We are based in East Hartford Ct. Most of our animals come from Arkansas and TN. We transport weekly from North Little Rock, AR to the North East with many stops along the way. We use our our transport www.plrdogtransport.com.
All dogs and cats are given age approproate vaccinations before they leave. Every pet is seen by our vet prior to transport and receive a health certificate
