UPDATE: We have raised just over $200 for Therese's treatment. Thank you so much to all who have stepped up to help her. Many of you are now the loving families of her babies... thank you for helping her. We still need a little more - and any volunteers who would like to spend time sitting with her and socializing/leash training with her - she needs a LOT OF TLC!! Therese entered our shelter on 06/15/2010. She is around 3 years old - estimated DOB 06/15/2007 and weighs 40.9 lbs. She is tan and white in color. Therese is the sweetest, calmest, most loving dog who is just bewildered at finding herself indoors after living outdoors and neglected her entire life. She's not had any accidents inside her kennel, and is so loving and sweet. Unfortunately she has tested positive - high positive - for heartworms. I am determined to save her, but our current shelter budget only allows for a certain number of heartworm positive dogs in treatment at any given time and we will need to fundraise to find the money to treat her. We will need around $300.00 dollars. Please help us help Therese!
