My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet JJ – Your Laid-Back Husky Companion!

JJ is a rare find—an apartment-friendly Husky who prefers lounging indoors with his people over braving the cold. At just 1 year old, this stunning, neutered boy is full of love, charm, and just the right amount of Husky energy!

Unlike most Huskies, JJ isn’t an escape artist. He’s been an indoor dog his whole life, is leash-trained, and has even lived in a hotel setting. He’s crate-trained and sees his crate as his safe space when adjusting to new people or animals. While he can get excited during playtime—especially with his signature Husky "necky" play—he gets along well with every dog he’s met so far. He’s also been great with kids!

JJ is housebroken and even knows how to use a designated indoor potty area when needed. He’s not a big barker, but he will let out a classic Husky howl when he needs to go outside or is hungry. He loves his stuffed animals, playing ball, and making people laugh with his silly antics.

This boy is affectionate, playful, and eager to please. If you're looking for a Husky without the usual escape tendencies, who enjoys both adventure and snuggling, JJ is your perfect match!

Additional adoption info

We require a foster or adoption application to qualify to foster or adopt our animals. We do check your current veterinary reference and landlord approval if renting. The next step is a "meet and greet" with all family members and/or household occupants, and current pets. Upon approval, we offer a "trial adoption" period that allows adopter to make sure of a good fit for both the dog and family. Adoption is final when adoption contract (different from application) is filled out and signed, and adoption fee is paid. Our adoption fees range from $75 - $300 (puppies) currently, but are subject to revision if our veterinary costs rise.
