Meet Benjamin Bunny! Like his literary namesake, Benjamin is a friendly little guy happy to have some cuddles. Unlike Beatrix Potter`s Benjamin, this bunny prefers to stay home. His foster family says Benjamin is a fairly chill bunny whose favourite thing is nappy in a cozy corner. Like any young bun, he does still enjoy his zoomies and will need a comfortable, bunny proofed space to run and play and bounce. Plenty of chew toys will be essential to help this little guy keep his teeth healthy and his body active. Benjamin is still a baby and currently enjoys yummy alfalfa hay; as he grows older, he`ll switch to timothy hay or another grass hay. Does the story of Benjamin Bunny include you? Come meet him at CHS and find out!

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.
Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.
Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.
Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.
Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.
Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
