Joey is a sweet 6-year-old lab mix who was rescued from the streets of Tijuana, Mexico. After going through some tough times, he is now ready to settle into a forever home where he can learn what it is like to a be a cherished family member.
When Joey was first rescued, he was very fearful. His foster mom believes the past several months he has spent in her home are the first time he has lived indoors. Joey's sweet, gentle personality is blossoming, and he is becoming less easily frightened.
Joey is house-trained and crate-trained. He also rides nicely in the car and enjoys walks. Joey is making progress on his reactivity to dogs, but at this time, he would do best as the only pet in the home.
Joey has been fully vetted, including neutering, vaccinations, deworming, and blood work.
Joey is looking for a loving, patient family who will give him the time he needs to feel comfortable and secure in his new environment.
