My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PA Kennel License #5254Wags Rescue & ReferralSouthampton Pa 18966 Available 2/2/2024 Originated fromAllmons All About Animals DL# 17277Blackshear GA 31516 Fat Boy was the shelter staff favorite and they were devastated when he did not get picked to be saved in Dec and his time was up. Wags by chance saw the old e-mail and requested him in January. It was hours before he was scheduled to be euthanized. Fat Boy being his happy awesome self had no idea but the shelter staff cried they were so happy. Fat Boy is a wonderful dog with a less than stellar name which sadly followed him from his shelter days. At almost 80 lbs, he is not hefty for his size (he's quite lean, actually), but he has a big heart and a big personality. He is a true people dog - he loves to cuddle. He is a true testament to the wonderful Lab breed - loyal, lovable, goofy, and food motivated. He knows basic commands. While Fat Boy does ok in his crate overnight, he would much prefer to lay on the bed with you if there's enough room. Fat Boy is mostly a couch potato. If you're looking for a true friend - and can give this sweet boy a better name - apply to adopt Fat Boy today!
