My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Microchipped, DOB November 19, 2016

Goose is an adorable kitty that loves to be the center of attention! He loves all types of pets, but especially chin and cheek scratches; he'll be sure to rub his face against your hand even when you stop petting him! His loud purr starts once he's in your presence and only gets louder once you start petting him. When he's feeling extra nice he'll even start making "biscuits" for you!

When not near his humans, you can find him lounging up high somewhere, whether it be the top of the cat tree, the window sill, or a ledge. He is also very playful; he loves toy balls and mice, and always likes a good play session with the wand toy.

Goose loves to meet new people, and will greet them demanding some love and attention. He is very friendly and welcomes pets from everyone!

He is at his cuddliest at night, where he insists on sharing a bed with his humans. During the night, he will cuddle up close to his foster mom, often snuggling the entire night.

Goose has a love for food; he eats at regular times three times a day, and is always sure to remind his humans when its feeding time by meowing and following them around the house. He has become very accustomed to his schedule, so although he does meow a lot during feeding time, he is a patient boy during the night and does not wake up his foster parents.

Goose is currently overweight at 18lbs, so he is on a weight loss journey. He has been successful in losing 2 lbs so far with his foster parents, and will continue to lose weight by staying on his proper diet.

He had to have dental work done, and while scratching his mouth he accidentally give himself an eye infection. The infection has cleared up, however some symptoms such as teary eyes are still present, but will clear up with time.

Goose is prone to getting the occasional acne on his chin, but this can be maintained by using baby wipes if you see it appear, and staying clear of plastic dishes for his meals (they harbour more bacteria).

Goose has some hair thinning at the base of his tail, it is unknown if the hair will grow back but it does not make him any less lovable! The majority of his coat is still thick and fluffy, making him such a cuddly furball!

Goose is such a lovebug and charms everyone he meets. His friendly personality makes him the life of the party; it's impossible to not fall in love with him. He is such a loving companion and is excited to find his furever home!

Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice is appreciated, vs. our standard adult cat adoption fee of $225.
