All children in the home must be at least 5 years of age. We appreciate your understanding of these policies. Meet Swindell… Mr. Personality Plus! Swindell is approximately 4 months old and 7 lbs. His mom is a fluffy Yorkie mix so Swindell must have taken after his Dad! He's a little lover pup and wants lots of attention and kisses. He has all his vaccines and is micro-chipped and is waiting to be neutered. Toys are his favorite next to food and he will chase any other pup to get his favorite toy. Each day he's getting better using the puppy pad and is learning to go outside. Although tiny and mighty, he has been around other dogs of all sizes and wants to play with all of them. Like all puppies, Swindell needs an adopter who is willing to train and work with him to help him to be the best dog he can be. Submit Application

The first step in our process is to complete an adoption application. This lets us know more about you, your family and your other pets.

Approve Application

After receiving your application we will complete our pre-adoption verification and vet check

3.
Meet the Pet

After completing our vet check and approving your application, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.

4.
Take the Pet Home

Adoption Prerequisites:
All animals in your home over 6 months of age must be spayed/neutered
All animals in your home must be current on vaccinations
All current/past dogs in your home must be current on heart worm preventative and have a history of providing the medication year round
All adoptions to residents of the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex only
Vet check is required for all adoptions

Our Adoption Process:

Step 1: If you are interested in meeting one of our pets, the first step is to complete an online application by going to roadtrip4paws.com and clicking on the Adopt tab to find a link to our application.

Step 2: After we receive your application, we will review it to ensure it meets our adoption criteria and do a vet check to verify your current and/or past pets are/were spayed/neutered, to date on vaccinations and up to date on heart worm preventative year round.
