ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY Puppy Policies: We do not adopt puppies under 6 months of age into apartment homes or homes without a fenced yard. All children in the home must be at least 5 years of age. We appreciate your understanding of these policies. Roxy arrived with her 5 brothers and sisters from South TX. They were born to a stray mom who looked to be a Chihuahua mixture and she was absolutely adorable so it’s easy to see where the puppy cuteness comes from. Roxy is friendly, loving, and used to being around dogs of all sizes. Since the puppies arrived with no mom Rosy, Skye, and Marshall have had Harvey to look out for them. He thinks he is their protector and snuggler which is so adorable! They are approx 5 months old as of 12/15/24 Like all puppies, Roxy needs an adopter who is willing to train and work with her to help her be the best dog she can be. The first step in our process is to complete an adoption application. This lets us know more about you, your family and your other pets.

Approve Application

After receiving your application we will complete our pre-adoption verification and vet check

3.
Meet the Pet

After completing our vet check and approving your application, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.

4.
Take the Pet Home

Adoption Prerequisites:
All animals in your home over 6 months of age must be spayed/neutered
All animals in your home must be current on vaccinations
All current/past dogs in your home must be current on heart worm preventative and have a history of providing the medication year round
All adoptions to residents of the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex only
Vet check is required for all adoptions

Our Adoption Process:

Step 1: If you are interested in meeting one of our pets, the first step is to complete an online application by going to roadtrip4paws.com and clicking on the Adopt tab to find a link to our application.

Step 2: After we receive your application, we will review it to ensure it meets our adoption criteria and do a vet check to verify your current and/or past pets are/were spayed/neutered, to date on vaccinations and up to date on heart worm preventative year round.
