Rescued with her mother and littermates, she has watched them all find loving families and is now hoping it's her turn. Despite being born with one front leg a little shorter, Trina doesn't let that slow her down one bit! She has been seen by our vet and it was determined she is in no pain and will have a much better life with her 4 legs even though one is shorter. Personality: Sweet and Loving: Trina is the sweetest pup once she trusts you. Playful and Energetic: She was quick to follow Otis, the resident dog's lead, and loves to play and explore. Resilient and Brave: Trina's spirit is unbreakable, and she faces every day with enthusiasm and joy. Ideal Home: Trina would thrive in a home where she can continue to build trust and feel safe. She needs a patient and loving family who can give her the time and attention she deserves. A home with another dog could be beneficial, as she enjoys following the lead of her furry friends. The first step in our process is to complete an adoption application. This lets us know more about you, your family and your other pets.

Approve Application

After receiving your application we will complete our pre-adoption verification and vet check

3.
Meet the Pet

After completing our vet check and approving your application, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.

4.
Take the Pet Home

Adoption Prerequisites:
All animals in your home over 6 months of age must be spayed/neutered
All animals in your home must be current on vaccinations
All current/past dogs in your home must be current on heart worm preventative and have a history of providing the medication year round
All adoptions to residents of the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex only
Vet check is required for all adoptions

Our Adoption Process:

Step 1: If you are interested in meeting one of our pets, the first step is to complete an online application by going to roadtrip4paws.com and clicking on the Adopt tab to find a link to our application.

Step 2: After we receive your application, we will review it to ensure it meets our adoption criteria and do a vet check to verify your current and/or past pets are/were spayed/neutered, to date on vaccinations and up to date on heart worm preventative year round.

Step 3: After completing our pre-adoption process and vet check, we will contact you.
