We rescued Daisy from a bad situation about 18 months ago. We estimate her age to be about 2.5 years old. She was chained to a dog house, covered in fleas, malnourished and had been beaten. Daisy has blossomed with us. She has gained about 50lbs, had all her shots, been spayed and microchipped. She is housetrained, walks well on a leash and is good in the car. She is good with cats, chickens and horses. We are emptynesters so don't know about children but she is very lovey with our adult children and us. Until recently she was great with our other 3 dogs. Daisy and her best friend Bella would play all day. Now, Daisy is challenging Bella. This happens when they are overly excited. Daisy wants to be the alpha dog. We have to keep them separated now. She would do best as an only dog. Being a Great Pyrenees, she is vocal.
