Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adoption Fee: $660, plus tax
Location: Foster Home
Have you ever wanted a low rider shadow? Well, meet Baby! Baby is the sweetest Basset Hound/ Lab Mix you will ever meet! After being on the street in Alabama for almost her entire life, she's getting use to the whole "being indoors living the life of luxury" thing, but gosh darn it, Baby deserves it!
Baby is full of life and ready for new experiences. Her newest experience was getting the zoomies in the snow, and truly understanding how COMFY a bed with her favorite human is! She is also attached at the hip to her foster brother who is showing her how to truly be a dog.
If you are interested in meeting Baby and making her a part of your family, please fill out an adoption application on the Carver Scott website today!

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
