My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** To alleviate the need to bring an animal into the shelter environment, The Anti-Cruelty Society has the Home-to-Home Shelter Bypass service to help people find new accommodations for their pets privately. These animals are not located in any of the Society`s physical locations. If you are interested in adopting this animal, please do NOT click the Adopt Me button and instead reach out to the current owner directly via the email provided in the profile. As this is a Home-to-Home animal you are not required to fill out an Anti-Cruelty Society adoption application form. ***

This is Elmer Fud - He just turned 8 years old a couple of days ago. He is a 38 lb. neutered male Beagle mix. He is up to date on his vaccines and flea/tick preventatives. He was surrendered to Sibley Animal Hospital, 1020 Sibley Blvd, Calumet City, IL  60409 by his owner. He appears to be sensitive to cigarette smoke and she is a heavy smoker. He is the gentlest dog. He loves his cookies but will not take them out of your hands. He has been good with cats and other dogs thus far. And he is definitely a people-dog!! He loves everyone. He is quiet in his kennel and never has accidents. He does have a `reverse sneeze` when he gets excited but has been thoroughly vetted and has no medical conditions. He is really a great dog who deserves a loving home. The phone number is 708-862-2440.
