Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Missy is a big, gorgeous red and white tabby who is about 10-12 months old.
Missy is the most chill cat (she’s very much like Wonder, another cat we have available for adoption!). She gets along great with other cats and doesn’t have any issues – she’s currently fostered with other cats.
She can be timid around hyper/energetic dogs but is fine with calm, relaxed ones.
Missy is very curious and will always go explore if allowed but she does not over step boundaries and almost like a dog, understands the word no.
Missy loves to be held. You can squeeze her, carry her like a big baby, and/or rock her and she just sits there in your arms like it’s the best place on earth.
She shares her food bowl with other cats and doesn’t blink twice. So relaxed.
Missy gets along with everyone and everything. She would be great with children of all ages. You don’t have to worry about the kitten stage of scratching young children, or climbing curtains but still get the same entertainment of a playful teenager/adult cat.
She’s not super toy crazed but she loves when humans play with toys with her such as the wands.
Missy is litter box trained.
The foster has no bad things to say about this beautiful girl. She will fit into all lifestyles of home from quiet to more active and in between.
Missy is spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, preventions and will receive a health certificate from a veterinarian giving her a clean bill of health prior to arrival.

Most of our animals are located in Texas in foster care. 90% of our animals are adopted prior to transport, and adopter must pick up animal from the transport company who brings them up north (all USDA companies). We do have private companies that bring them directly to your home/office also. Sometimes we do have animals located in foster care up north - if this is the case we do put at the very top of the animal's profile where the animal is located in the north.
Once approved, we can put you in contact with the foster family to learn more specifics about the animal you are applying for.
We do try and process applications within 1-2 business days. Please make sure to list all appropriate information such as references contact information, vet contact information, current animal information, landlord information, etc.

More about this rescue
We are an animal rescue dedicated to helping neglected, abandoned, stray and homeless animals find their forever homes.
We found a need in our area due to the little to no options for the animals in rural areas in Texas - where most animals that ended up in our shelters were euthanized for space.
