My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ladybug is an almost 3-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who weighs 40 pounds. She is fully vaccinated and ready for a home that can match her energy!

Ladybug is a very active dog, that wouldn’t mind learning how to be someone’s running or hiking partner. If you prefer a stay-at-home dog, she loves a back yard with a tall fence, as she has learned to climb fences to go exploring! If you don’t have a fence, that is okay. She loves walks and is wonderful on a leash.

Ladybug does have a prey drive, so no cats, farm animals or bunnies in her new home. Ladybug has been raised around children – but when playing could knock over younger children.

If you are interested in adopting Ladybug, please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***
