My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Juniper is an angel of a cat. She loves people and cuddles, but also likes her play time. Juniper is a Manx cat so she will need her bottom occasionally checked and cleaned. Her previous owners took her to the vet every few months to have her hair clipped for hygienic reasons. Juno has a slight rectal prolapse due to laxity of the anal sphincter. She has had chronic ear infections, but hasn`t had an issue for the past year. Juniper will need to be on a grain free food. Before considering adding me to your life, please make sure you have the appropriate amount of time, space, and resources available to care for me for my lifetime. I am in indoor only kitty!

More about this shelter

Companions Animal Center is a non-profit organization funded exclusively by donations and grants. Every day we receive numerous homeless animals. We shelter, feed, and provide medical care for these animals while searching for loving homes for them.

As a "No-Kill" shelter, animals who are in our facility do not face a "be adopted quick or else" ultimatum but rather are cared for until they can be placed.

Our Mission - is to focus all of our efforts and resources toward directly benefiting the quality of life for all abandoned or mistreated pets with the ultimate goal of finding each one a loving household in which to share their lives.
