Hi, my name is Ruth and I’m a 35lb, 10-year-old Shepherd mix. Overall, I’m a pretty laid-back girl, but still active despite being 10. I’m not super playful but I get along well with other dogs and even cats. I haven’t been around kids but I think I’d do ok with them as well.
Sometimes I can be a little shy around men but after I warm up a bit, I’m perfectly fine. My foster mom says that I’m a little on the skinny side and I will do just about anything for a treat. I’m very food-motivated. I know some basic commands like “sit” and I walk well on a leash. I love to follow my foster mom around the house, it helps keep me active. I’m also crate-trained and housebroken. I like to be on a potty schedule so as long as you take me out on a regular basis, I don’t have accidents in the house. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.
