Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Some dogs enter a room like a tornado, but not Glinda. This gentle grey Pitbull mix, adorned with the most enchanting white boots, prefers to float in quietly, observing from a safe distance before deciding if the magic of a new place is real. To help her find her courage, Glinda needs a confident dog by her side, showing her that the world isn’t so scary after all.
Shy by nature, Glinda takes her time warming up to new people and places, but once she feels safe, she reveals her heart of gold. With patience and understanding, her true colors shine, and she transforms into a devoted, affectionate companion. She may never be the life of the Emerald City’s party, but she will be the most loyal friend you could ask for.
If you have a brave and kindhearted pup who could show Glinda the way, she’s ready to learn that there really is no place like home.
Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $275+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
