My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This amazing, resilient boy will make a wonderful family dog!

He has had a really rough start to his puppy life, having been seized by animal control from a homeless encampment with multiple injuries.

Vets determined that his fractures were likely due to being kicked hard enough to break bones. At just a few months old, he faced the cruelty that humans can inflict, but despite his injuries, he has been the sweetest, most loving, silly, cuddly, and trusting boy.
He has recovered beautifully, has no lasting ill effects, just a few little lumps and bumps. He is ready to find his forever family, where he will never have to worry about his safety again!

We have never seen a pup so resilient and HAPPY!!
Mistletoe is incredibly social, playful and affectionate, and likes to bat you with his paws when he is playing and snuggle by tucking his head under your chin!
He loves other dogs, thinks tiny kittens want to play, is fine with adult cats and loves everyone!
He loves to run and chew on his toys. He listens fairly well, but being a puppy, he will need a patient home who is willing to take the time to teach him everything he needs to know be a good adult citizen as he grows up!!

He is incredibly smart, willing and abundantly cheerful!

He is in foster in Berthoud.
