My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blaze is rather shy but with love and attention he will make an excellent companion and family member. He is bonded with his sister and would love for them to be together if possible. He has been mostly an outdoor dog but does okay inside according to foster home he is in. According to the foster home he is good with children, other dogs and cats.

More about this rescue

We are a non profit totally run by volunteers. We are presently focusing on the low income mining towns of Grant county, nm. where there is a huge need. We have saved over 130 dogs and a few cats from being euthanized in the shelters here by finding homes and transferring them to non-kill shelters in the last 6 years. We have recently organized and gotten our non-profit status. We also assist with spay and neuter and vaccinations when possible often from donations from our own members and volunteers.. We work with the ACO's of each village, and have donated needed items for the animals for their comfort. We also are starting a education program in schools to bring more compassion in that setting.
