Meet Kev!
This boy is available for adoption and is looking for his new furever home! Kev does have a few quirks as some Great Danes do. He does have some barrier reactive issues when in a kennel; he will lunge and growl, but this has been being worked on and he is doing so much better but will need further work especially with new owners. He was surrendered to the shelter due to a bite which we will go over if interested in him. He also does have some reactiveness with anything being wrapped around his neck like in a collar motion, this has also been getting worked on and he is getting better every day! He does well on a leash and responds well away from distractions. This boy is HIGHLY food motivated and will do anything for a little snack. He knows sit, paw and lay down. Kev did live with another dog and did well and has done with dogs he has met here that matches his energy, we would recommend him to a home with no small small dogs just due to his size and him not understanding personal space. Meet and greets are required if another dog does live in the home. Since he has been here at the shelter, he has not shown any staff members any aggression except the barrier issue but once the kennel opens, he is his normal sweet goofy boy, the most he has done is try knocking us over with his leaning to get scratches. Kev has so much potential and just needs the right owner that he can trust and build confidence with. We are looking for someone who does have breed experience due to his quirks.
