These three little goats are ready to pack their bags and move to your farm! Kuzco is 12 years old and was kept on a chain until he broke free years ago and found a family to love him. Later the family welcomed Yzma (who is now 8) and her then new born son Kronk (who is now 6 years old). The three were extremely loved in their new home, but sadly life happens and circumstances change and their family was no longer able to keep them.
Momma Yzma took just a few days before she dropped her guard completely and this sweet girl absolutely loves cuddles! She's very polite when she's requesting pets and will just stand near you, patiently waiting until it's her turn for attention. She's one we never have to worry about around our youngest or most timid visitors. She's always calm and gentle around them. She is however, not a big fan of dogs coming too near her or her herd and will headbutt the fence in between her and the dog to show the dog she means business.
Kuzco took a little bit longer to come out of his shell, but when he did we got to see him for the true goofball he is! His biggest thing is that he absolutely adores getting his head scritched and will make sure you get the right spot by moving his head around so you don't actually have to move your hand.
Kronk is proving to be the shyest of the trio, but even he has made leaps and bounds of progress while he's been here with us! When they first arrived, we noticed that he was limping and would hold one of his front feet out infront of him. When we asked about it, his previous people said that they had gotten the trio's hooves trimmed right before they came to us and that foot must have been trimmed too short. Unfortunately, his limp didn't get better as his hoof grew out and he continued to limp. After consulting with our regular vet, we sent him for a CT scan, where we learned that his shoulder had been injured, potentially during that trim before he came to us and that he would probably have a limp for the rest of his life. We currently have him on a pain management program and he happily frolics around the field with the rest of the trio. He does however tend to lay in some pretty interesting positions (lovingly dubbed his 'yoga poses') and he has gotten VERY good of standing on just his hind legs, especially when begging for snacks from our visitors!
These three are all pretty bonded, so we're hoping to place them in a home together! If that home is you, head over to waywardranch.org and fill out an adoption application for them!
