Meet Indy, the pup that could out-run the Indy 500!
Indy is a 1-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix. This high-octane guy is here to steal your heart—and possibly your snack! He’s got enough energy to fuel a rocket, so if you’re looking for a fun loving pup who’ll keep you on your toes... Indy is the one for you!
Indy is an absolutely wonderful dog. He is incredibly intelligent and food motivated, enjoys training and aims to please. If you have never owned a Shepherd or a Husky, or even a Shepherd/Husky mix, we recommend doing research on the breeds prior to applying for adoption. Indy is a high energy working dog that needs a job or an outlet for his energy and drive.
Indy needs an ACTIVE home with no small animals, but may do well with other dogs as long as proper, slow introductions are performed. Indy would do best in a home with older kids (around 10 years and up). Indy is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and given a flea and tick preventative as well as a heartworm preventive.
Think Indy could be the one for you? Fill out an adoption application on our website! For more information or any questions, please contact the shelter at wausharacoanimalshelter@gmail.com or (920) 279-9795!
